Was wondering what your thoughts on the quote was. I say no competition, being happy is much more important than being right. but i am not sure if i am missing something with this quote... i must be b.c i see no need to even think about it. lol |

You are right. Being happy is better. If you are right, chances are you are a stuck up little whore or a stupid book-nerd. There are some times that you have to be right and some times that you don't have to be right. It's better to be happy than right though. I would rather me be happy and leave them off not mad at me for being a little shit (you will find that out once you date a girl like that). You can't really answer that question straight off really to be honest. You just have to basically assess if it's going to make you happy or the other person happy. |

It may be that the two sides of this statement is success and happiness. Right: business, and fortune happy: personal life and wants that's put simply, seem alright? |

ooooo, good point. then i would assume you are a career driven person. maybe a lawyer, in the field where being right is your job? not that that is a bad thing. =/ not something i strive for tho |

well..in lawyers oath it says they agree to defend their defendant as best they can, and its pretty unrealistic to think alot of people are guilty that get off....cough cough oj | ||

Being happy about being wrong is foolhardy. If you are wrong and know it change. If you are happy and you find out that you are wrong then change your wrong. You should still be happy because being right or wrong shouldn't deem your happiness. Even so if you are right be glad about it. | ||

if your happy (and assuming you cant be both) your joy creates bliss, and ignorance. a shroud of limited mental engagement and thus satisfaction and happiness, even if it is incorrect. does that make sense? i did in my head lol |
