In my opinion, one of the main reasons that George W won re-election is because republicans were sick and tired of being told all this shit about Bush. The democrats, if they had a white male candidate, I'm 99% sure would win... but the amount of states that would turn down either of those is tremendous (as I said... the south and midwest) Once again, mostly in response to Emerican, I'd like to ask how the hell anyone knows that Hilary is a bitch... what has she done? |

Clinton is too far left to win an election. She nears the title of socialist. The only places in the nation that will vote for her are the impoverished areas (already a democrat demographic anyway). Upper and middle class America will not want taxes hiked another 5-10%, and the usual south and midwest states are red all the way. I think Democrats had a good chance back when they took the Congress a year ago. They all promised withdrawal from Iraq, etc etc. Pelosi even had a "first 100 days" plan. They had SUCH a good chance, and once again have not done shit. Many of these democrats got into traditionally republican seats, and I don't think they're gunna hold them. Same thing with the Presidential race. Most of America looked for a good Democrat candidate. Who is the star runners? Obama and Clinton. Obama has about as much experience as my left nut in a gay asshole, and thats not what people want right now. There is no time for a learning curve. Clinton is too extremist and whether she earned it or not has a horrible reputation. Republicans could pull it off. They just need a solid candidate. I thought that was Fred Thompson, but he has really dropped the ball in campaigning. Rudy is very well known and I don't think people even really tag a party on him, more of just a "hero" thing. Romney comes across VERY well in debates and speaking events, he has alot of charisma. I think Romney or Rudy versus Obama or Clinton will be a Republican victory. McCain is too old, people are sick of him, and Edwards just doesnt seem to be getting any popularity at all. |
