I'm doing this for a debate in my Critical Thinking class. I'm just saying right now I am against it, but possible theories are very interesting to read. At the same time there are interesting ones, there are also hilarious ones. Like, the earth becoming a part of the "Federation of the Universe". LoL. And the "Government covering up sitings because of a set up of a visitation date".  Come on, get serious.I believe the world will not end in 2012. But at the rate we are going with technology, something breakthrough will be invented, but it's not going to drastically change the way the earth operates. Cure for cancer? Who knows. Maybe if they'd invest more in Stem Cell research, we'd know. All I'm saying is people shouldn't get their panties in a twist with that coming up. These kinds of theories are much like theories people scare the shit out of each other with in religion. People need to live life normally and about now, not about the future. What do you guys think? End or going? |

Honestly, on a philosophical scale, it scares the hell out of me. Why? Because I don't believe in myths or stories, but if I was going to believe any of them, you're damn right I would bet my bottom dollar on this one. It scares the shit out of me but at the same time I don't believe anything like this will ever happen. Why do I think it would? #1 first black president. The bible explains the son of satan to be a smooth talker, a new heir to the throne, and a whole new breed of his kind. AKA THE BLACK MAN. yeah, gay, whatever, boo buutttttt #2 explains that the period will be over 7 years. 3.5 years of Satan's son's rein, then 3.5 years of everything getting reset. Like a new world. now now... why would I believe this, people just started talking about it now that it's getting close, still doesn't mean shit. YEAH, well what the fuck if. ya know? I turn 21 the day before the world is supposed to end. December 21, 2012, the day is going to end, and the day before is my 21st birthday. that just adds to it, cause it's just my luck for something like that shit to happen, ya know? /end_drunken_rant. |
