A couple of weeks ago my comp started showing a window like this ever so often. -[link]- Then when i click close the screen will change to this. -[link]- Ever since then my comp is slow and I cant play CS:S without it freezing. Any thoughts? |

first but yea, well what i would try is to remove any spyware, viruses, and things like that first. Also, make sure you have windows updated. If that doesn't work, just re-install. Re-install is the easiest thing to do if you don't want to do the things above. Edited Sun Oct 28 2007, 12:01AM |

My thoughts, Raiden is GAY. like seriously, your computer is recognizing raiden as the gayest thing to ever disturb the MGS series, and locking itself up. | ||

I had a similar problem. If it is what I think it is, you should only get that error when you open a specific folder. For me, I had a corrupt file in that folder; to find out which file was corrupt I made a new folder somewhere else on my harddrive then transfered files until I got the error in the other folder (if there are a lot of files in the corrupt folder, try moving half of them over to the new folder, that will narrow down the possible corrupt files by... well... half). once you've determined what the corrupt file is, delete it. The problem went away for me after that. | ||
