Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.

Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.

 First, a reminder that the IP/port for the new server is: 208.100.26.59:27015

Please take the time to update your favorites right now if you haven't already. Don't delete the current FTC just yet... ya know, just in case the worst happens and the migration flops.

The test server has gone well and it looks like this is a perfect time to migrate FTC to our new host. I'd like to go ahead and get it over with as I think most people will lose interest if we wait another week. Here are some notes on what will be happening for the migration:

- Adverts/MOTD will go up tomorrow on the current server advising players of the new IP/port.
- I would like to migrate in the evening, when we can be (almost) sure of a full server. Last time we migrated it was first thing in the morning and I was pulling my hair out waiting to see if it would actually work for most of the day!
- As before, all slots on the current FTC will be set to reserved and mani redirection will be set to the new host.
- The server name (what appears in your favs/server list) will be changed to show the new IP on (soon-to-be old) FTC, and the hostname updated on the new server.
- Adverts will go up on the new server advising players to update their favorites list to the new IP/port.
- I'll double check to make sure any changes (admins, mostly) in the past week make it over to the new server.
- Do some buggering on psychostats and hlstatsx to update the IP and a few other "behind the scenes" stats-related changes.
- Update the welcome message here on forums and the server monitor on the home page with the new IP/port.

That's the list so far. I'll think about it tomorrow at work and if anything notable should go above. I'll be using it as a checklist for the next few days, and update accordingly.

Just a note, the mani stats will stay as they are on the new server. If we were staying with the current server they would be up for a reset anyway as it's been two months.

Questions? Comments? Glaring omissions from my list above? Please let me know as soon as possible -- I want to make this transition as smooth as possible!

We're actually doing 66 ticrate to make sure everything is stable. I believe our fishies would rather have a better 66 tic server than the current FTC, which is sketchy even at 66.

 My ping actually has rose, but for some reason my fps went up and choke down a bit. I dont lag as much in firefights cheesey cheesey I cant wait for the new server.
