Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

lol dude i can never see you saving up 900 dollars to buy a pc. youll end up blowing it on some gay ass game that no1 else will like but you. and maybe justin. cuz he has nothing. but seriously, make sure you get media center. even though by the time you raise the moneu vista will be out, you will be able to record shows that you would have to be up till 4am to watch othersise. |

ya media center is a must. I might not go vista untill all the bugs are sorted out (we are talking 2008 here), but I don't even record that stuff, I don't watch TV, but the XP media center is much sleeker and has better feautures. I might accutally up the GFX to a 7600GT or maybe even a 7900GT. and since i am young, my dad has agreed to pay two-thirds of the cost. Heh Heh... | ||

2.0 GHz isn't going to cut it for a lot of games. I recommend at least 2.4. Also, 1GIG RAM is okay, but if you really want to see some goooood stuff. Get at least 1.5gigs. I've got 2.8 GHz, and 2gigs RAM, so, I'm okay . Also - I have 2 computers. One of them has the 6800, and it's pretty good. |

AMD Athalon Processors are much different than intel processors. They use more pins on the connector and are able to send more information with fewer clock cycles, and therefore don't need as high of ghz to perform. A 2.0 Ghz Athalon 64 is equivelent to a 3.2 Ghz intel pentium 4. I used to have a pentium 4, it was 3.2 Ghz and the highest it could go was 800Mgz (FSB). This AMD 64 3200 2.0 Ghz goes as high as 2000 Mgz, much much faster than a pentium. AMD's are meant for demanding rocesses like gaming AND they have the 64 bit tchnology, whereas intel does not. I think I should be set with a 3200 Also I have updated. I'm thinking a little more budget Minded: AMD Athalon 64 3000+ socket 939 processor 1.8Ghz (will overclock) nVidia GeForce 6600GT 128MB GDDR3 (will overclock) Just to lower costs. My friend has an athalon XP running at 1.6 Ghz and it is screaming fast, but I intend to overclokc to atleast 2.2 Ghz with the 3000. Also, another friend of mine has a 6600 and it works on counterstrike like a dream. everything is maxed out at crazy resolutions and refresh rates. And the HDR Lighting is full along with 4x AA and 4x AF. I think a 6600GT will be even better, since a few months ago PC GAMER did reviews on both and said that even though the 6600 had 256 vs. the 128 that the GT has, the GT still outperformed because it had GDDR3 vs GDDR2. I don't really want a screaming system i just want something I can upgrade and use on about mid-high settings. Edited Sat Jul 29 2006, 02:59PM |
