Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.
Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.
Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

This tutorial is rated: Beginner By the end of this tutorial you should know: What program to use for mapping, and how to install it How to use basic tools and commands (link provided) How to make your first map (link provided) Where to look for help when you get stuck Step 1: Installing Hammer If you haven't already, when you run steam, go to the tools tab and install Source SDK. When you run sdk, go to the program Hammer (this is the mapping program). When you open a new map, you will see the window divided into four screens, and a bunch of buttons that will probably make no sense at all to you. Three of these screens have grids (2d views of the top, side, and other side of your map), and one blank screen. The blank screen is a live preview of what your map looks like. I suggest the very first thing you do is click the help button, which will take you to this site: -[link]- . Read EVERYTHING under the getting started section. After your second article, your brain will feel like it's about to melt. This is normal (take a break, this stuff is hard. Do not expect to learn all this stuff in one night; it takes weeks to become a good mapper). Step 2: Where to ask for help Although the developer community is a great site, and can answer almost any question about an entity (an entity is the exact same thing as a sprite. In other words, a part of your map that performs a specific function; whether it be a light bulb or Black Hawk Helicopter) it's nowhere near as good as getting information from a real live expert. Here is a forum site that will answer any question you'll ever have about mapping -[link]- (add to your favorites, cause you'll be there a lot). WARNING: they hate surf mappers on that site, so don't mention anything that would give yourself away as a surf mapper. Another good site for checking tutorials is fpsbanana. They have plenty of tuts full of advice for making a desirable map. -[link]- Here is a forum from “Broken Surf.†There are plenty of tutorials here that cover anything from how to make surf ramps to sv_airaccelerate (a crucial part to any surf map. I will make a separate tutorial on this later with a working link here). -[link]- . I haven't really explored the site, but judging by the name, you could probably find some good surf help there. Would a Site Admin or Moderator please add this as a sticky to the Tech Support Forum Thanks |

wrote ... i cant get the damn spawns to work Edit: it says invald counter terrorist spawn point in the console This is most likely because your info_player_(terrorist/CT/start) is intersecting with a brush or prop entity. Either move it further away from the wall/prop entity, or if the floor is at an angle (not flat), raise the info_player_ entity up a little. It is very important that the info_player_ entity is not touching anything at all and is actually floating above the ground (not too high or you'll hurt the player when they spawn. A few inches works just fine). good luck |
