*Enter Amped* *Stares at wallpaper* Anywho... First error, basically means one of your runtime files(.dll) has become corrupt. It's pretty hard to trace how this happens. Computers suck, they do that type of shit. The second error...CS:S is still patching, you silly. Don't join a game while it's patching, wait till that's done. The third one...I don't know why you're suddenly getting that error now. Go on the ATI site and look for the latest forceware drivers that support your GPU. Actually, as a thanks to your wallpaper, I'll do it for you. -[link]- I see why you're getting this error. Those drivers are relatively new. So when you reinstalled, steam noticed that you never got them. Install those drivers, you should be fine. Xfire me if you have any more problems, I was at work before, sorry I didn't answer. |

lol i doubt it. Sometimes stuff like this happens for no apparent reason. My friends CSS kept crashing and he didn't know what was up. I went over to his house, and checked it out. Apperently, the new video card drivers he had installed were fucking with CS and i guess for whatever reason cs didn't like them. I lookd through the internet for some older drivers and Viowala! it worked again. Listen to amped he knows what he's talking about. |

Well, me an Amped downloaded a NEW drive for my PC it took care of one problem but i still cant play FTC or any other server the ONLY server i can join is FTC2 now tell me why i can do that????? | ||

Have you tried downloading any mods/skins/anything for CS? It could have corrupted that file and that may be why its not working for you. I dont really know because ive never had any problems with CS before. But if you did download something it could have damaged a file. Thats my only explanation. | ||

Alex, it says nothing any more about the drives... Nightrider, i have not downloaded any thing for CS i don’t use skins/mods/anything.... All i know is that i load up Steam and join FTC it get all the way to where it says (Retrieving Server Info) Then it just turns Steam off.... |
