Hey guys, one of my best friends, Adam Wingard got addicted to CSS yesterday on my comp. he was like " WOW " and he wants to get it for his comp and join our clan a while down the road. First question is, he has a laptop. hes not rich so how can we make his laptop play this game. even if its all on low quality. he doesnt care. and 2nd off, he has a sprint card for his comp because he doesnt get internet at his house. it gets like 3 g's a sec or a min or somethin. im not very educated in that area. is it worth it for him to get source? and if so, please tell me how to help him out. my AIM is xxfirefighterzxx and thats my email to. someone please get ahold of me. its not probable that a cheap laptop is going to play source. his laptop is going to need a dedicated videocard and not just like intel graphics | ||

My friend has an integrated card on his laptop. It's not even a year old, and it can't run CSS at all. Basically, unless he has something that isn't integrated, he can't run the game at all. I tried everything, configs, -dxlevel 80 and 70, nothing works. | ||

Dedicated GPU is a must, no on board crap. Most laptops can't hang. However, he can always buy it and try it. If it doesn't work... oh well. He should install steam and buy CSS and troubleshoot from there. Most likely going to need a non-crapola laptop. |

Glitch, I run a config that lowers more shit than that, and it didn't work on his laptop. Trust me, it won't work on integrated. | ||

I'm on a laptop. Average on High settings 90-100. Of course I have a Nvidia 8600m gs in it =P. Only $1600 | ||
