Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.

Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.

 okay, so anyone knowledgeable with downloading movies and such, I need your help.

Lately ive been trying to download DVD's off of limewire. However, after I wait like 3 hours for them to finish, I go to play them, and on like every Media player I try, I get a message saying "missing codec software, could not render file. could not render some pins in the graph."


My windows media player 11 updates everyday and downloads codecs automatically. However, this tells me im missing codecs everytime I fucking try it.



What should I do? Do I need to download some software to convert the movie files I download? Also, I was told this is Key. when I download them, and it gives me the error message. It wont play the video, just the sound. so I can listen to the entire movie, I just cant watch any of it. not one second of video. could it be that the audio and video are alligned incorrectly? is there software to fix this?


really aggravated and really want to watch my fucking movies. thanks for any help

 i always thought "missing codecs" meant that the file is faulty, not the downloader

 They are probably encoded with DivX or Xvid. Just go to their website and download just the codecs not the gay ass packs of free shit.

 I would just get VLC.
May be the best video player available right now, and it's free. Just search google for it and download. I've yet to be missing a codec while using it.

 The problem is you're trying to download movies on limewire. Don't use it for anything but music.

 yeah, dont use limewire to download movies, Torrents are way better. Try something like Utorrent or Azuerus.

 I have a program that scans files for the codec used in them and then tells you what that codec is and you can usually google it and download it.

I forgot what the name of it is though, it did lead my to a program called ffdshow, which is a huge compilation of codecs. Run and install ffdshow and see if the file works then. You can get it here: -[link]-

 actually, downloading VLC media player cleared it all up. And actually I got a few more movies that look great. Lock Stock and two smoking barrels, Layer cake and Snath(all guy richie films), Spirited away, Princess Moanoke, and Spirited away. and tahts just a start, and they ALL look pretty damn good. I tried them on 5 other media players, missing codecs. But this player plays every single one. I'm impressed and so happy!! thanks!!




and as for Torrents. I fucking tried to download shit through utorrent or something like that. and I didnt get shit, and I just didnt understand how to work the shit, so I got frustrated and learned to get better on Limewire. Make a quick tut on how to use simple torrents and examples on how to find shit and what to look for, and more people like me will do it. otherwise, you're looking at the new fucking limewire pro

Anyways mybad for not saying anything, you can just Download the Combined Community Codec Pack (CCCP) and it covers every format that anime is on right now. This'll let you play in windows media player if you ever get tired of how vlc messes with video while you skip or just how uuugggly it looks

haha. I like it right now, but I might get that codec pack anyways.
