Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.
Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.
Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

Anyone know what this virus is, and how the fuck I get rid of it? I captured a screenshot of it doing its evil. This dialogue box pops up every 10 seconds and the icon in the tray is always blinking, so It's obviously not my computer telling me to do this. Also the thing I underlined in red is always something different (this example says worm_attack_####, tomorrow it will be spyware_bot_attack or somethig like that). when you click in the exit box, a website opens up that tells you to download a free trial of some bogus antivirus program (obviously more spyware). Please tell me how to get rid of this shit, I tried running macaffe virus scan in safe mode, and run adaware and spybot S&D daily, but they don't catch it and say my system is clean. I'm also getting pop-ups on my desktop (before I run internet explorer), and macaffe keeps catching this Dialer thing, but won't let me delete or quarentine it. HELP! (I'm hoping to take it to HP ITS this weekend, but I'd rather avoid that if possible) |

its just some adware. theres a few things you can download for free that will get rid of it. 1. Ad-Aware. 100% free and very good at finding things -[link]- 2. Spybot Search and Destroy. Another 100% free tool that, again, is very effective. -[link]- 3.CW Shredder. Another tool i use, it gets rid of hard to find Cool Web Search spyware from your computer.http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Popup-Ad- Spyware-Blockers/CWShredder.shtml If these dont help, you may have to go out and buy a program such as Mc Afee (which you should already have gotten) |

Thats what you get for looking at porn! probably really dirty porn too. I;d do what emerican said, also, if you ctrl+alt+del and go to Task Manager and list of applications, end process tree, that should stop what ever you end till usually noon or midnight. just do that to what isn't usually there!

If you have the newest version of Spybot Search and Destroy, and you do a scan, tell me if it comes up with Windows.Antivirus.Notify. Ive had huge problems with that, and Ive already had the same problem as you. Update SS&D regularly. The Ad-Aware is a great program, I have that as well, and it tracks down almost everything. As far as an Anti-Virus program goes, Ive had almost every type of program, and the best that I can tell you is Norton (Most arent going to agree on that one). Out of the three years that I have been using the program, its never let me down once. I have the newest one and its pretty darn good, with extra Spybot protection, Adware protection, ect. Usually you will see something in your SS&D that reccommends that you download Spyware Blaster. That gives you more spyware blocking and stuff like that. Just use the links that were posted above, and you'll be fine. Its going to be a pain in the ass for you though to get rid of that. First time I had it I had to end up rebooting my whole system :/ Its not a good one to have. |

Kamikazi Watermelon wrote ... i think i had that virus, did it hijack your homepage? What was your homepage when it hijacked it? Mine was some search page, I forget what the page was but perhaps if you tell me it then Ill know. Mine had some generic search bar that it kept installing. (Sorry for the double post, was too lazy to edit the last one.) |

All of these should work, but I've had MUCH worse. What I did, was just type EXACTLY what you underlined into google, then research it. See if anyone has found a "cure" for it. If not, and the above things didn't work, you will most likely have to re-install your operating system. I've done it many times, and it's very painfull, but when you're done, you machine feels clean and new

ok, thanks for your help. I'm actually on my work computer right now, so I cant try any of that until I get home. No, my homepage wasn't Hijacked, and I usually update adaware and ss&d pretty often. Also, when I first bought my computer, I had Norton Antivirus to protect me, but my fucking college forced me to install mcaffe so I could use their network (nothing but trouble since then. Windows update stopped working, whole mess of things). I'll try out CW Shredder, see if that does anything for it. I'll try to catch a screenshot tonight when mcaffe catches it, then does nothing about it. UPDATE: I've been looking for cures on google, and a lot of different sites say download ewido.
