| How to extract audio using Audacity. | ||

First, download Audacity ( -[link]- ), then install it using the installer...and open it up. when you record the sound that is coming out of your speakers, i.e. music, video audio, or whatever. Keep in mind that this records all of the audio playing, no matter what, so you may want to mute any other sound you dont want to hear. Step one: Click file, then new project, or press ctrl-n. Step two: Set what you want to record from from the drop down box  I don't really know what half of it means, but you want to click stereo if you want to record the sound from your speakers. Step 3: Next, click record. Keep in mind, you must have the sound playing.  Step 4: If you got whatever you want, but a little extra too, you should edit it down. You can do this by clicking the audio box thing, and then dragging the cursor from where you want to edit, to the beginning of what you want keep.  Step 5: To export the audio you now have to Mp3, you need to download the LAME encoder DLL, this can be found on the audacity website and follow the instructions there. ( -[link]- )

you used the wrong link. there should be no = or & or anything like that in the links. go back into the links, and right click the images and click "copy image location" and them paste that in the place (i would do it for you but I'm not a schooling fish mod | ||
