| Choke / Rate issues - need assistance | ||

Ok before you tell me to visit the tutorial on how to fix choke, just know that I already have. I followed the instructions word by word, and my choke is as bad as ever. I have been living with this problem for as long as I've played, and I really want to get it fixed because getting headshots and not doing any damage is really annoying. atm I have it set to cl_cmdrate 100 cl_updaterate 100 rate 25000 My resolution is 800 x 600 if that means anything. I have tried the 75% updaterate ratio to cmdrate, doesnt work either. If you need more details about my computer, just write it here along with how to get there. I'm not really a smart computer guy  Anyways any help will be appreciated. I play with a constant 5-25 choke or so. Also, when I try lowering my imputs, nothing really helps. I can go as low as 30:22 and still have a good amount of choke. Edited Fri Oct 19 2007, 02:54AM |

Iunno its really gotten to the point that if I can't fix it, I'll just uninstall CS because it really isn't worth playing with that shit. | ||

Try playing aroung with your 'rate' setting and see if it makes a difference. Do rate 30000 or 35, 40 etc... Just a thought, it might help. | ||

processor and GFX card? Ram? check all the specs you can find. I would recomend this, it can tell you alot about your computer, and check for problems. Hit the "details" button. -[link]- |
