Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.
Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.
Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

I recently had to "recover" my computer... reinstall windows... I'm trying to get on CS:S and it's telling me to install the latest version of directX... but when i go to this link, download, and install this, i press the CSS icon and it gives me the same error. This is the site that it tells me to download from: -[link]- have i downloaded the wrong thing, or is something else funky? Edited Thu Sep 20 2007, 07:34PM |

You probably got DX10 and something funky happened; find a DX9 and try that out

Jesus[tzahal wrote ... ] You probably got DX10 and something funky happened; find a DX9 and try that out I think Steel may be right. Once I had the exact same problem when I did a reinstall. I got the error message and updated to DirectX 10. But, I kept getting the same error message. I ended up downloading updates for DirectX 9 first, then I updated to DirectX 10. It was a fucked up way of doing things, but it did fix my problem. |

yes he is right. You have a DirectX 9 video card on your PC i believe. If you install DX10 before 9, you will encounter problems. If i remember correctly, you have a 7 series nvidia gfx card or am i wrong lol. If you do, then download DX9 first. See if it works. If it works, dont even bother upping to DX10 until you get a new vid card... (8 series) |

No, I think direct X would work like a regular software driver. You can try rolling it back with a system restore, otherwise you could try overwriting but I don't know how that would work out. What you could try doing (which I haven't personally attempted myself) is going to device manager and finding out your drivers for video adapter etc. I think you can pull this up in XP by right clicking on my computer, going to properties - hardware - device manager. If that doesn't work then I'll leave it to someone else to suggest; I'm drawing a blank right now (Fetus is kinda pissed that I'm shooting blanks...)

Okay, I've successfully uninstalled the drivers on the card, but it's installed the factory defaults. How do i upgrade it?
