Well, As most of you kno, before i left i went on a reskin spree!!! well, i tried reinstalling the game, but it just wont work... i mean the game works, but i want all my stock skins ?? anyway i can acheive this ? thnx |

In a recent patch, servers were able to run the command sv_pure which basically sets all custom skins to the server default so that every player plays with the same skins etc so nobody has an advantage or disadvantage in game play. Servers with sv_pure 0 you can have custom skins in, but a server like FTC has it set to 1 as it (i think) helps reduce hackers. | ||

If AP hasnt changed anything on the server, you can have custom skins. I had them on at one point but due to some weapons not playing any sounds at all I deleted them. So, you can have custom skins, but not custom sounds. If I want my stock skins back, I usually back up my map file and config file from the csstrike folder and then delete the csstrike folder. |
