How much are those comps running you? I would recommend what I have (Dell Inspiron 9400) It runs great, T7400 (2x 2.16ghz 4mb cache) I have a 7900gs in it 2 GB ram @ 667mhz My monitor is WSGXA+ which is what you want for high-def. 17 inch and it runs at 1920x1200 resolution which is better than that option #1 you have You also should want to buy a 7200rpm harddrive Customize an inspiron and check out the price. Czech the laptop that I stated that I have only ran me $1800 on tax free weekend with tax it was like $2200 but that was with a warranty upgrade that you wouldn't be getting so I am not exactly sure how it would be costing you almost 4k | ||

most laptops come with shared memory which will slow down your computer, but not by that much. You should be fine if you aren't a serious computer geek. | ||

If you mean xfire, then it's a deal  I bought the decade of C&C about a month ago, so I have all the fuckin C&C games!! it's jokes. But yeah, I haven't really given C&C much effort, so basically the only strats I have are the ones I have developed myself.. Likewise, with C&C generals I didn't do the real campaign, but I created my own strats and tried them on my brothers and they worked well, so I can only hope that C&C 3 will give me the same effect. I haven't played NOD yet, lol, but I really like Zone Troopers -- they fuckin kick ass. Zone troopers + snipers + juggernaut + those planes with the AA missile loadout.. that's basically what i've tried in skirmish's |

you definitely want more than a gig of ram i wud definitely go with at the very very least two if not three or four b/c of the ridiculous amount of ram that vista uses just to idle | ||

I got the first one. It doesn't seem much different than the one that you posted so I ran with it. The vid card is a bit better I do believe on the one I bought that is. | ||
