| MP3 Player has died :( | ||

I have one of these, a Philips GoGear MP3 Jukebox 2gb, and i stopped using it for a few months, when i came back to use it, it won't turn on, when plugged in to charge the screen just flickers and still wont turn on, nothing when plugged into pc either. any suggestions? |

but a creative mp3 player they are the best, I have had three of their players and they are extremely durable and well built easy to use and they have a lot of space | ||

hunansux, this is a HELP thread, not a "What i should buy instead" thread. lol John, i had the same problem with my Dell Pocket DJ. Does that have a reset button somewhere on it. Like a really small button that only a pin will fit into? If it does, then hold that down while its charging. It worked for my dell dj thing. If it doesnt, then i cant help ya. if you left it on its charger for a few months, you probably just need to buy a new battery. I've had products where the battery got fucked after leaving it on the charger for less than a week... ask one of your friends who has the same thing to swap batteries with you and see if that works. (unless that's impossible -- in which case I'm sure that the company who makes the product will sell you a battery for 50 bucks or something) | ||

like nostie said, it couldve fucked the battery also it might need a hard reset or a restore ... can you plug it in without the battery attached, or is the battery embedded? |

If you need a new MP3 player i suggest you get a Craig MP3 play, it looks like an egg or a bomb but its really durable i dropped it on the floor a few time and the the back button is some where in the MP3 player the mode button is also broke but it still works. | ||

It wasnt on charge in the months that i wasnt using it, the battery is embedded. Its no big deal cos im getting a 80gb iPod Video in september, just wondering why it stopped working. | ||
