Okay, so my friend is getting a laptop Sunday and he needs help on getting one. He wants one that is pretty decent yet not expensive. It has to have a Duel Core processor, that's what he said anyways. He listens to a lot of music, so the Hard Drive has to be considerably big. I need some help on finding one that is good, but pretty cheap. Around the 1200 and less range would be a good price point. If anyone could help, that would be nice. | ||

ok Dual core can either suck ballz or be good. for example P4 dual core you cant do much more then cook breakfast on.. however a CORE 2 DUO is kick ass while the CORE DUO is a celeron basicly. Turion 64 X2 are good and i would highly suggest one especially against intel products since they always run hotter. Your going to want the following Turion X2 ATLEAST 2ghz 1-2GB ram and a 120 gb hard drive. For under 1200$ your going to have to deal with a mobility X1400 or an Nvidia 6150 graphics system. Id go with the mobility X1400, runs battlefield 2 on medium to high settings If you need any answers check my tech forum -[link]- |

if your going to buy a laptop dell or Alienware are the places to go. You can actually get a nice alienware for under 1200$ now. i would suggest Alienware since they use better chassis, better quality parts and well the wow factor of their cases | ||
