| Best virus/adware/spyware protection? | ||

Just wondering if there were any good free downloads out there for virus, adware, or spyware protection. I have macafee virus scan, adaware, and spybot S&D already installed, but I suspect that they are not catching everything and I may have some viruses or lots of spyware and adware on my comp (it's been acting sluggish for a while now). So I figured I'd give it a try to see if I can clean my computer with some downloads. Does anyone know anything like that? | ||

what i like to do when the pc is sluggish: 1.Reboot 2.Clean out start up programs to stuff i only need 3.Uninstall un-needed/unused programs 4.run virus/spyware/adware scans 5.watch recorded shows and then delete them 6.run disk cleanup Try these, and if none of them work, let me know and ill find you something |

yes I do all these things, regularly instal latest drivers, and clean my disc every so often (delete unnessesary internet files etc.). I really think a virus is behind my computer's odd behavior, so what I'm interested in is downloading some good virus protection and such. | ||

the best anti virus is to burn your hardrives, frie your cpus, overlvoltage your ram, and burn out your ball bearings  cause there's no absolute protectection, use what you feel comfortable with and make sure its well made software..if your computers sluggesh. it might be overheating. and underclocking your cpu for you to compensate for the heat gain and energy loss
