I have a monitor problem, somewhat serious lol. A couple months back my sister moved my computer, and the monitor into her room. The monitor is a 19" MAG Plasma monitor. Not sure if this would matter, but the monitor would have been upside down for the duration of about 12 hours or so. Since that evening, the monitor has had a horrible yellow tint that CANNOT be resolved. And starting like a week ago, everytime i turn it on, or leave it on too long, the monitor goes completely white. Is this my monitor going, or would it potentially be a video card problem? I can give more information if required. |

Have a spare monitor you can connect? If you do, and that one has the same issue, its your PC. Have a spare cable to test? Either VGA, or DVI, whichever one you're using now, test it out with a new cable. Check the VGA/DVI connections to see if you have any broken pins or anything stuck inside, or if the cables are completely connected. |

fyi, MAG monitors blow. Seriously. If you're looking for a new one at the end of all this shit, check out samsung, lg, nec, and spectre. My personal favorite has to be the sony lcd hdtv's though

you could do like my friend did last year in AP Computer Science whenever the computer he used did that he just hit the monitor a couple times and it usually resolved the problem. Yes I know I have some "smart" friends. | ||
