Anyone know of a site that records your local weather on past dates? Sounds weird I know, but I need this to know when there were clear skies at night so I can totally bs my astronomy lab. You see I was supposed to be doing 10 observations of the night sky over the past semester, but I kinda didn't. However, I do have a computer program (called Stellarium. It's freeware and will show you the night sky of any date and time you type in), so I can use that to bs my observations, I just have to make sure you could see the constellations that night, or I could be called out for completely bsing this course. if it shows you the sky of the date you put it why not put in the dates and see the sky, if you cant see the sky then it is cloudy. |

The program doesn't use the actual visible sky, just calculates where the stars and planets will be. That's why I need to know what the weather was like on certain days. | ||

so your saying that if you have a say where u say you can see the Gamma Constalation when infact it was a cloudy night your teacher will know? |

No, but theres always the chance that I get that one day when we had a Nor-Easter and I claim I saw galaxy M80 you know what they say: an once of prevention... gets the bullshitter an A+ |
