| Low ping - Big lag?? | ||

Okay well i used one of those cmdrate +80 (forgot the actual command) because I was getting kicked from servers. I then realised I didn't know how to return it to normal. The console said something like cmdrate =30 so i did that and i also did cmdrate 0. Now on cs_office my ping is around 80-90 but i warp ALOT (i have been told) it doesn't really affect me but others are complaining, so is there away to make my ping go back to the normal 120-140 and for em to stop this warping ? | ||

Never seen someone before want a higher ping. I don't know how to though scope. Re-install FTW. | ||

Actually, don't reinstall, just delete your config file, steam will automatically create you one when you play css again. Or, you could change the rates back to stock: -cl_cmdrate 20 -cl_updaterate 30 Or...your ISP may be throttling your bandwith so you don't use more then you pay for.(Which is what I think mine is doing to me...) Wierd, the same thing happens to me. I always have a ping around 40, but I lag like it's at 200, and every few minutes I'll hit a lag spike where all my weapons will disappear for a split second, then I will get tham back all at once (and if the map has a fade in when you join, it will fade in again like I just rejoined or something). Let alone I can't play office or assault anymore, because my computer will just lag out upon joining. | ||

in l4d2 i get 2000 ping or more everytime i play. every players is laggin when they walk and the other zombies to and when im walking to a place im laggin back to the place i was standing before i started walking idk how to make my ping lower and im ruining the game for other players when im playing. a long time ago i could play normal without any lag but in some days it started to lag and i couldn't fix it. i have everything on low in the option screen but it doesn't work anyway. please help anyone i really want to play normal again. <:c | ||
