Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

I think part of the reason why my computer is not performing how it should is because it does not have a good cooling system. However, I'm not familiar with anything like that, so I need some help from someone that is. I would like to purchase a good cooling system that isn't too pricey but will work on my PC. It seems like the core temperature is running a bit too high (In fact I went into BIOS and the temperature read 128 to 130 at one point) And I don't really know what is good for average. I'm thinking that that is part of the reason why though, and I'm looking to buy something so it doesn't overheat like it does. Can anyone help?

my comp cooling is natural cooling. i have no idea whats inside the case, but i leave the case in an area that is nice and cool, and if i leave it on for long periods of time i put a couple small fans by it to circulate the air.

here's a good idea: don't leave blankets and sheets behind your computer. there's nowhere for the hot air to go, and your power supply dies, and then when you try and turn your computer on, the power button blinks and the fan goes BLAH BLAH BLAH and you go OMFG I RAPED MY COMPUTER and then your brother goes nah it's just your power supply and then you go FUCK HOW MUCH DOES THAT COST and then your brother goes "eh? for your computer, only like 40 bucks" and then i go ohh phew... only 40 bucks and then your brother goes online and buys you a new power supply and then you go YAY i have a computer that works! and then your brother goes "now don't fuck it up again" and you go "yess massah"

What kind of case do you have for your computer Night? Once I see what type of box you have I can go on NewEgg and find some kick ass fans for you. I run a big fan on the back of my box that pulls the hot air out of the box and pushes it right out. The other two fans I have are to pull air into the box and cool it off. Let me know what type of box you have.

I have the standard box that came with my pc. Although, I would like to get a new case, I don't know if that would be the reason or not. I just think I'd rather put a new cooling system in it first before I know anything and see if it works. And if that doesn't work, I'll buy a new case.

how big is your current case? i know my case is pretty big, it's a full tower, so there is lots of room inside for heatsinks and fans. if you have a smaller case, all that shit is jammed in there blocking the airflow and causes overheating. you said about 130 degrees, was that idle temp or right after you played CS? if that is idle temp, then that is way too hot. if it's under heavy load temp then that is manageable, but could be better. if you could take pics of your case, or tell us the model or something we can look into finding a good, cheap solution. |

That was when I was starting it up and I went into BIOS to check on it. And it probably gets even hotter when I play CSS. It could be because the case is too small like you said, so I'm thinking of buying a bigger case. Not only that, I want to get a liquid cooling system, that's going to cost alot, but hell, my pc will be tons cooler.

OK I have to start with a BIG screw you to all of you guys that beat me to this. DONT GET A LIQUID COOLING SYSTEM. One leak and ur whole systems gone. Also getting a new case could be a good investment. Get a case with a few Fans. All you will need baby. If ur not OCing that mofo than ur good. You can get a case thats alot better than your stock case for not alot of green. Post ALL of ur specs for EVERYTHING and we can help you out better. <3
