I was just wondering on how many people have or was looking to buy Vista. I did a scan at Link where it told me if i could run it on my comp and what would be the best version. I can most likely get it for free because of my dad owning a computer company and he is thinking about upgrading to it. |

Vista i CANT FUCKING WAIT TO BUY!!!! IF you have an awsome rig with lots of RAM and good vid card, then Windows Aero... Software that comes with it... Makes your desktop look sooooo fuckin cool!!! AHH.. i WILL upgrade to it. And i will buyt he BIG package.. BUT only when i build my new PC, which could be in a year or so lol. I recommend to upgrade to it if you can get it for free. Yea, people are saying like that it is shitty and stuff. Also someone said u can't do like stuff like Limewire on there. I am going to test it out at dads office once he gets it then see. I am also going to maybe start selling shit on ebay, so i might be able to get some money to get a real nice video card for like $400 and another G of ram. | ||

All that cool stuff you can do with vista can be done with any linux computer and barrel. You can do more and it doesn't require state of the art grafix card it also is more resource friendly. On top of that Vista doesn't allow you to use (I think the term is) open sound card(if not I forget the term but the effect is worse sound and harder to make games for it. ). The reason why is to make it so you cant listen to anything that isn't certified. The gaming company are backing away from it left and right because making anything to work with it will be a pain in the ass. Also most the programmers that did anything good that it was spoused to do and would have made it awesome pulled out a long time before it was released and made it shit. Vista sucks |

It's a Microsoft product. Therefore, it's a half ass product that was rushed through production with numerous vulnerabilities and bugs. Negative on Vista until you give them a few months to work through the issues. | ||

Wild you forgot to add that it also deletes anything it thinks is illegal software lol. Such as downloaded songs or listening to a song that says you can only listen to it 3 times more then 3 times. | ||

pocky's pretty good, limewire and all that shit is blocked by vista as well as an iTunes bug right now where iTunes doesn't work (who pays for music anyway). i work at a best buy and have spent a shit ton of time testing vista in one of the beta's and now the final release. it is garbage, with Aero to get the "Full" use out of it, you need a graphics card with 1gig dedicated memory ($600+) and at least 2 gigs of ram if you want any decent performance. | ||

I was really bored at work so I ran a wikipedia of the problems with vista. Here you are for your viewing pleasure. Wikipedia for the win Man I just finished reading all that lol. If that doesn't scare you away form vista nothing will and you should probably go seek help lol.
