Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.

Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.

Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

 Toast,there are some great combos with that CPU...might look into that. One with a mobo and 8gigs ram. Not bad.

 do you need a hdd? If not then that cuts the price drastically since HDD's are very expensive right now.

 Oh and this is the SSD i bought a few months ago for my netbook.... Shit is absolutely wicked fast and i cannot even take advantage of the SATA 3 speeds.

SATA 3 is about 100% faster than SATA 2

I don't really need to grab an hdd, I think I have about 500 gigs laying around in 3 hdds, and a 500 gig external, and thinking of dropping the os of a small ssd.

I have the case, got it for 43, and it's a full size, which i like. the rest is up in the air, I would prefer staying amd, even though the i5 and i7 are great.

Knight, I'm gonna look into that card a little more. Anyone have opinions on it here?

To make it easier, tell me what you have and I'll give you best performance to price.

I got the G210 when I bought my last computer and it ran CS:S at 60fps on 1920x1080 resolution. Not bad. I'm fairly certain that if my ATI 3250HD on my laptop paired with a dual core celeron can handle D3 on Medium settings the G210 can handle it on high.

 not bad, i'm just not an amd fan i guess so i would have just thrown the extra $10-15 in for the i3 2120 but that's just me..

other than that your mobo and ram look fine


glitch wheres that link for the ssd, i want to seeeees it

 I have the vengance RAM, good stuff.

Gigabyte boards, I have mixed feelings about: I like their construction, all solid state capacitors are nice. Dual BIOS is pretty bitchin, a must-have if you're overclocking. Plenty of SATA 6Gb/s connectors (keep in mind, SATA 6Gb/s does borrow graphic lanes from the CPU, so on a crossfire rig, you might see your cards go to x16 and x4 lanes). Sometimes, their placement of components can be a bit crazy; case and point, you think you'll be able to reach that 8 pin CPU power connector once the heatsink is on? Their UEFI is kinda ridiculous, but I don't know if this board comes with it. For the money though, you really can't beat it.

And the reason I chose that processor over the 2120 is because Rusty asked for a quad core. Also the fact that it's an intel, means the cost of the mobo goes up as well. Besides, having that dedicated APU (on die graphics) really helps with video rendering.
