Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.
Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.
Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

I know nothing about 3D builds, other than what I can guess from it being called a 3d build... If you guys want to fill the scrub in, let me know.

3D gaming means you get depth perception in your games (instead of a typical 2D environment). You've heard of 3D tv's right? seen movies in 3D? Well imagine looking through a sniper scope and seeing exactly how far down range your target is. The 3D is actually more realistic looking too because you use "active" (blocks out one eye, then the other) glasses instead of red/blue like theaters. It adds about $500 to a build, but your budget is 2k, so it's definitely do-able. In order to go 3D, you need 3 things: A nvidia GPU (ATI doesn't support 3D yet), a 3D-ready monitor (so far the choices seem to be Acer or Alienware, soon to be Asus), and nvidia's 3D glasses. To peacebypiece's point, it is relatively new technology, but at some point you have to just say to yourself "when this gets released, that's when I build," and stick to it. Otherwise you'll be waiting forever to build your PC, because something bigger and better is always just around the corner. Edited Thu Jun 17 2010, 06:19AM |

Don't people get dizzy or disoriented with those type of machines? And is there an option to have it just 2d if you don't feel like wearing the glasses? If it'd only be $500 extra dollars I'd be 100% down to try something like that. I wouldn't know where to start though. If you could point me in the right direction I'd give you head.

Well you have to "train yourself" which means you start off with it nearly in 2d, then as you get adjusted you can adjust it more and more towards true 3D. And yes you can still game in 2d mode. Just say the word and I'll make you the sexiest build in the land.
