Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

try deleting your windows32 folder. ...search "system configuration" in start. uncheck bs that you don't want to start up automatically you can check through your running processes, but don't disable too much. i love 2 weeks leave. i bangded 2 girls (1 asian, 1 croatian) home on theirs. <3 craigslist Edited Sat Jan 30 2010, 11:14PM |

on a more serious note, if the computer was in the middle of an update, you may have corrupted your registry. Since this is a new computer your best bet would be to back up anything you saved on it to some kind of external media, then do a system restore (hit F8 repeatedly on startup until you see a screen with a few options on it. Goto something like "system restore" and it will boot the recovery portion of your hard drive. Plug it in and let it run for a couple hours while it recovers. If that doesn't fix your problem, then order the restore disks from the manufacturer and do essentially the same thing. EDIT: try ccleaner first (run registry cleaner). I doubt it will solve the problem, but it's worth a try Edited Sun Jan 31 2010, 03:52AM |

ya i tryed running registry cleaner :/ didnt help.. i havnt tried restarting after the cleanup tho. maybe thatll help a little. I have an external hard drive but i kno if i drag and drop icons it will only save icons and not the program so how would i trasfer all my stuff? BTW : !!! i am not turning my 1800 $ laptop into an IED... lol its not worth it. And also BTW i think my signature that ive had for like 3 years has finally caught some humor rofl...... You usually cannot save programs over an external HDD. You see a lot more portable programs out there, but nothing like games and that shit. So you'll have to suck it up and reinstall basically. It sucks, but that's the way of the world, you're best bet if you don't bring disks with you is to make ISOs and store them on your external HDD. This way you always have the disk. | ||
