so my computer boots up now, but you guys were right, the main problem is in my computer. he's some messages I got after I got the blue screen of death and had to restart my comp Windows just recovered from a serious error. A log was made for this error [here] and the log read.. Error Signature BCCode : 1000000a BCP1 : 0023B867 BCP2 : 000000FF BCP3 : 00000000 BCP4 : 80543047 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 3_0 Product : 256_1 then Technical Information about the error report [here], and that gave me this The following Files will be included in this error report: C: \DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER8cf5.dir00\Mini121209- 01.dmp C: \DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER8cf5.dir00\sysdata.xml Is this telling me whats wrong, what I have to fix, or what. the temp files should just have to be cleared right? or is it some virus buried deep within the lagoon? For the blue screen of death it told me to make sure all my drivers are updated, but everything is! it's the first thing I do after reformatting my comp. and the monitor is plug and play so there is no needed software for that either. any ideas? |

from what i've found out this is an xp problem did some research and you can disable error reporting and it should be fine go to the control panel and then to admin tool. From there click on services. Error reporting properties and change from auto to disable let me know if that works |

well, in other news, I found out more shit. DQS Training failled last reboot - and it also told me my CMOS is bad? no idea. googling both of those to see wtf is up. and I might just reformat... again, but that's whats bugging me out, I feel like I have a virus that is like deeeep in my computer that anytime I reformat it just keeps attacking it. and funny story; I was playing CSS with Knightrider and we were playing for a while, then out of nowhere he was like "Zero I thought your monitor was fried?" and while I was talking to him, my computer froze for five seconds, then shut off, then wouldn't reboot for half an hour. sooo all in all, I blame Deva |

CMOS is serious shit. update your bios, if this fails reseat you ram (take out of ram slot, then put back in; sometimes static builds up in the ram and this releases it), if that doesnt work, try reformatting (a virus won't survive this. it is extremely rare that you come across a virus that can actually harbor itself in your bios. In which case I would assume that you are looking at some nasty porno and probably caught more internet std's than Tiger Woods). If none of this works, then I feel safe to say that it is your motherboard. If your computer is a laptop... then recover what data you can and promptly place laptop in trash. If it's a desktop, then find yourself a nice new mobo on newegg. |

well the thing of it is, my HD is partitioned, so I think the virus harbors on my E partition, and everytime I reformat the C drive partition, it just keeps getting infected from the unchanged E drive partition. Updating bios/mobo/vid card tomorrow. I'm done dealing with this shit. |
