so i finally got my new processor today and put it in my build and start it up...posts nothing to the screen and just keeps restarting itself... the processor is new, the ram is new, the mobo is new, the vid card is new, the hdd is pretty shitty but works in other comps, and the psu is new as well...also the case is new...i have no idea why it would be doing this so i'm lookin for options i would guess it's a problem with the psu but it is new, and from what i've heard if a psu doesn't work, it doesn't really work at all and won't start up at all..which it is still somewhat booting up other idea is possibly ram? but that is also brand new so i really don't know what to try next...options paweez? |

peace did you plug in the 4 volt power connector at the top of the mobo near the cpu? that was my downfall if thats not the problem, take each part out individually and replace it with a different one to diagnose what exactly your problem is |
