:::IMPORTANT MESSAGE::: Limewire users beware!!! I have been downloading some music, and i just happened to notice a trend in a bunch of files lately. Everyone knows not to download a file thats below 1000kb... HOWEVER, every song and movie i typed in, i found a file that looked legit in terms of the name, but had a 5,611kb file size. This is over that minimum to be a virus, and the name was almost perfect. When i looked at it, i noticed that every song i searched, had a similar file, and they all said the same thing.... .. .... . ......that i was currently downloading it... How could this be? I just searched this song to download it so how could i have already clicked to start the download? I said to myself..."HOLY FUCK!" When i realized it, it was too late and i had already finished the download... When i clicked it to see what it would do, it closed out my WMP, closed out Limewire, brought up not firefox, but Internet Explorer, and about 10 different tabs all asking me to play a .exe mp3 file. Now was it an mp3 file or something else...? I said fuck this and closed everything out. Luckily i was able to delete the whole fucking thing before it shit on my PC. But before i did, i check to see the actual file size... it was in the 300's. It somehow was able to mask itself in the program, showing it as a legit file size, yet being only 300kb. So far PC is running fine... cept i just noticed that one of my 250mm fans isnt working... god knows how long thats been like that... So this is a warning, when searching a file, make sure you check the size, and make sure it doesnt say 5,611kb. If you get that pop-up thingy, just close all that shit out, and never press "play .exe." Edited Tue Oct 14 2008, 07:43AM |

omg noobs TORRENT FOR DA WIN!!! and don't say torrents suck for single files, cause 9 out of ten times the file isnt' even rar'd and you can choose what file you want. Edited Tue Oct 14 2008, 09:41AM | ||
