So as you all know I fried my computer thanks to getting a Keygen off of a Non-Legit site. So my repair I was going to do, was get the Window's Disks from Bandito(Never going to happen: Not a problem though buddy) and reformat my computer after getting all of my save stuff onto an external harddrive. Yeah well Disks aren't coming, and I won't have the external for some time... over a month.. and I have WAY too much work this year to be just leaving my computer alone for the time being. I need it fixed NOW. There are many ways to remove virtumonde, but none of them have worked for me. I had it contained, until I accidentally Oked a popup message that enabled a new virus to download. Here is a screen shot of the viruses Spybodt found and Ad-aware found the same shit  Also notice the popup message for the virus. this is what the virus program looks like  When I get this popping up every 40 seconds, I push "Keep Disabled" and I close the program manually, and all it does is drop down to the notification area. Seriously not a big deal... but it keeps slowing down my computer more and more, and I worry about all that's on my harddrive. I run Spybodt, Ad-aware and CCleaner CONSTANTLY. and the same shit keeps coming up but everytime I fix it it just lies to me. Wtf am I supposed to do?  Don't be dickheads, because I would love to throw it out the fucking window I'm so aggravated, but please give me honest technical support.

Honestly dude. My advice to you is to take it in to a professional and get it fixed. That way you don't run the risk of losing a bunch of shit that's important to you. Just delete the CP and Jailbait first though! |

So I'll see how that works 2) How much? smitfraud is a really nasty virus. i had to download a patch and install it in safe mode to get rid of it | ||

if you want a better antivirus, get AVG (search google). It hasnt done me wrong yet. | ||

So I removed Smitfraud, and Virtumonde hasn't kicked up anything lately. I don't have any roguespam, and I can now go to any site on the internetz, so I think they are both fried I'll run my virus checks later to make sure everything is gone, but I feel pretty confident that I'm safe til I reformat. |

So I think i'm just gonna write this and just keep copying/pasting this in everyone's virus threads "I want the free and quick route" 0) run atfcleaner just to get rid of all temps in one shot found [here] 1) run SmitFraudFix in safe mode found [here] 2) run SDfix also in safe mode found [here] 3) run CWShredder found [here] 4) install/update/scan SpybotSD & AVG If problem still there: 5) install/run RemoveItPro trial will clean found [here] 5) Install/run HijackThis found [here] 6) Save log and send to ME!!! PM, email, aim w/e those sites usually take a day or two to get back to you. I can read it faster, after this we can go through the registry and i can tell you which keys to delete etc etc. "I want to pay for Antivirus" 1) Are you infected? Yes- Go buy Kaspersky, will tank EVERYTHING, even if there is no immediate removal for the virus/malware/spyware the patches will block off all communications to it. Hourly updates = pain in ass tho if you're rendering No- go DL AVG&SpybotSD and don't be a bitch, those work just as well since avg just steals norton's updates and Spybot focuses on rootkits. The combo is gud enough just keep them updated! I've got a lot of other goodies like brute force scripts and stuff but that should take care of 99% of whats out there. Anything else just give me a pm or find me on aim on on almost 24/7 |
