Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

noskill, i think you're taking this a little out of hand. i understand where you're comming from here, but the accusations against people that feel bad for these animals being tortured is a little too extreme. i didn't see many statements if any that stick out as "liberal" ideas. i mean, i felt bad when i saw this, but i doubt anyone here is really that into it to go protest or anything extreme like that, but people have the right to have their own emotions. but about the i care about animals more than humans, yall are rediculous. watch some of that movie again, and imagine that instead of "innocent animals" and replace them with "innocent humans". Now if you had a chance to stop one of these events from happening, i don't think you can honestly tell me that you would let the humans go on being tortured and let the animals go free. I think you would choose to save the humans, at least i know i would. |

I think you would choose to save the humans, at least i know i would. I appreciate your reason and respect this post and your opinion. In my own defense however, I don't have a problem with people having their own emotions... not at all, 'tis natural. I have a problem with people who chastise those who don't share the same emotions as themselves. Who... feel the need to... influence those around them with their belief and their opinion and then... verbally castrate those that oppose. These are the people who I must find fault with. I didn't agree or disagree with anyone in this post until I saw the way KD was being ridiculed and felt the need to take up the weaker argument (the most fun argument in my mind). Personally I couldn't care less about this particular situation (it ranks 238th right behind Global Warming and Abortion to me) My whole point is that... there is a way to disagree that is effective... and there is a way to disagree that is not. The not, usually leads to violence and hatred. The effective way however, leaves both parties wiser... as each one was able to gain some perspective as to the others situation... Also there's a difference between being an activist fighting for a "noble" cause and being a loud mouth bitching on an internet gaming forum. Those were my two points. Off the record. I had a really interesting conversation tonight with a great friend of mine. Recently, we've only known each other for maybe a year now. But when he was growing up he lived in a HORRIBLE area... gang violence was the norm. He joined a gang to prevent himself from being jumped as he walkedh om from school everyday. It took 6 months of continuous fighting for him to succumb to this as he didn't want to do it in the first place. (there was personal family circumstances that prevented him from moving all together) Anyway, he told me some stories... some bad stories... about gang violence and shit he's done and seen done to people who really never deserved it (anything from a 6 month hospital visit beating to having your fingers chopped off to being shot or stabbed). At first I was apalled. Angry even at him for not making a "better" choice. We fought for over an hour as to whether or not his life was more important than those whom which he was involved in ruining... or to a certain extent... ending. You know what I eventually realized? I had no fucking idea... what I was talking about. I had no idea about that type of life style, sure it was easy for me to sit there and judge a person whom I figured was simply ignorant for choosing that path. Well he explained his options to me, he explained his reason for doing what he did and he asked me. If I were him would I have done it differently? And you know what? I probably wouldn't have, hell I may of been worse. Sometimes in life... you don't have a choice. We all feel we have free will and freedom of choice, but honestly, occassionally, it's an illusion. There really is only one choice in many situations. And you know what? It may not be the "right" choice. "Stab your friend, or be maimed/killed for a stupid petty argument by the people you love." Situations like that... they aren't based in logic, or reason and logic and reason don't apply. I could go on and on as the conversation lasted well into the night and there were many points and counterpoints and heated debate. But the bottom line was... people... for the most part... will take the worst of any circumstance and USUALLY make the most of it... whether it be right... wrong .... or in between. It's in our nature to adapt... Anway I don't think that has anything to do with animals but... felt like sharing. If you read all this I thank you. And I hope that you too somehow manage to "treat people the way you would like to be treated." Even if it doesn't come full circle or is reciprocated... doesn't that make YOU a better person? |

NoSkill wrote ... Ok now you're just making things up. How does my money support this? I didn't realize bleeding heart liberal and telling you your perspective is fucked is insulting either. Seemed like a very apt observation on my part. Your money supports this when you buy fur coats. And how the fuck isn't calling me a bleeding liberal an insult? I hate the liberals, and you are off. NoSkill wrote ... Also mankind is not evil... evil isn't even the right word cause it implies religious rammifications. Immoral is a better word and how do you just lump together all of humanity into one big boat of immorality. Is that what your catechism class teaches you? You must watch Fox news. I'm assuming you're religious here, christian I take it... probably catholic, maybe protestant. Mankind is evil. I don't know how much more I am supposed to prove it. Hitler had a mass extermination of Jews, Stalin killed more innocent people than Hiter killed Jews, and right now there is a genocide going on in Darfur. Are you saying that is perfectly normal? So, are you going to throw more of your stupid generalizations at me? Yes, I am Christian. No, my morality does not come from that. I am the same way as you, except not as bold and overbearing. NoSkill wrote ... I don't know what that means... what can you change? And why aren't you doing it? Or what is it you're doing exactly? I'm confused, to me, you just seem to be bitching and moaning... (that's not an insult, I could use nicer I suppose but there's a difference between being rude and insulting) I am trying to start one by posting the video in this thread. Did you miss that one? You stepped over the line of insulting by at first calling me a "Bleeding liberal". If name calling isn't insults, then I don't know what else is. NoSkill wrote ... How old are you? 17? You notice this isn't even in America... we have laws against that type of shit... so what COULD YOU POSSIBLY DO ABOUT THIS? You speak of liking to kill them in a similar manner, does thinking about that make you feel better? Does the thought of murdering people viciously somehow make you a better person? Do you feel it's your job in life to avenge the wrongful and cruel deaths of animals? 17? You are almost 2 years off. I'm 18 going on 19. Notice, this shit doesn't happen in America, because we have laws against that. Most fur coats are made in other countries, such as Mexico, Peru, ect. And by the way, I wouldn't kill them. They would just suffer just as much as the animals did, that being the ones that stayed alive. The thought of me murdering the same as them does make me feel better, because I don't care about people like that. They to me are just on the level of animals and mental retardation. I don't feel it is my job to avenge it, I feel it is wrong. NoSkill wrote ... If so then do it. If not then sit down and shut up. Btw the saying treat them the way I would like to be treated applies here too. No I wouldn't be nice and friendly and forgiving to these people. I would treat these people the way I would like to be treated, I would leave them alone. I have started it, again, by showing everyone this video to alert them of the problem. It can be stopped, more people just have to act on it. If you are going to leave them alone, then spare us your negativity because you aren't making anyone any happier, including me. NoSkill wrote ... I have a problem with people who chastise those who don't share the same emotions as themselves. Who... feel the need to... influence those around them with their belief and their opinion and then... verbally castrate those that oppose. These are the people who I must find fault with. You are the one that verbally castrated everyone else in the first place. I would have had no retort had I not found your first post insulting. Admit it, it was. NoSkill wrote ... NoSkill wrote ... My whole point is that... there is a way to disagree that is effective... and there is a way to disagree that is not. The not, usually leads to violence and hatred. The effective way however, leaves both parties wiser... as each one was able to gain some perspective as to the others situation... I wasn't aiming for violence and hatred at all. I simply posted this in saying that it needed to be stopped. My rebuttal in your ignorant post was merely to set an example of how enraged I am that people could possibly do this. I'm sure there are peaceful ways we could end it. NoSkill wrote ... Also there's a difference between being an activist fighting for a "noble" cause and being a loud mouth bitching on an internet gaming forum. If you are referring to this thread in general, then please, feel free to make a thread to delete all of the different sections in the forum other than the ones that deal with gaming. I have as much of a right to try and set an example as anyone else and all my initial point of making the post was to show everyone what really happens when they buy a fur coat. That is all. I'm glad your friend had that conversation with you because it was needed to prove to you that you have egocentric views on things. People have a right to express an opinion, but you fired first in chastising me as well as everyone else with me that supported this thread. I felt that I could put out a point by submitting this video because when I watched it I realized what really happens when I pay money for a fur coat. I never wanted to get into any argument over the forums because people start to hate each other and hold grudges, and people take sides, and then we are in one big two-sided shitstorm. I hope that you do not take our forum quarrellings anywhere else but in this thread here, as I like you Noskill. But I was only infuriated with your first post. I apologize for my unnecessary backfire. |
