I routinely check Superfundo for new movie torrents that come strolling in. I stumbled upon Resident Evil Degeneration... I never heard of it, so i googled it and found a trailer. I was skeptical at first thinking they made another RE movie that shits on the name... Since the only one of the 3 that was anywhere near "ok" was the first. The second was a joke and disappointing, and the 3rd made me cry. Nothing to do with RE. SO i watched the trailer and realized it was made in Japan, was a full animated CGI film, and had two familiar characters in it. Claire Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy. Anyone who loves the game series should know who they are. If you have no clue what im talking about, watch the trailer here -[link]- Read the description on the youtube page for more info about the movie setting. In my honest opinion, it was the only Resident Evil movie that can truly be called a Resident Evil movie. Some parts were cheesy, but overall i thought it was a killer. The beginning reminded me all too much of the Dead Air campaign in Left 4 Dead.... anyone who plays it will know what i mean. Sounds cool. but what's wrong with the beginning of dead air? I know it's a pretty lame story, but it's the 2nd best campaign to play. |
