It's been about six months since we last paid for the surf server, which means that real soon we're going to need to put some more money down. Since I don't have a full time job, and neither do most surfers, I can't put down enough money to cover the server for another six months by myself. I'm willing to put in 65 bucks towards the server and I hope a lot of you guys will feel compelled to donate to the surf server we call home-- For six month's worth of server, we'd need to get a total of $205. (that's including a 5% discount for the semi-annual server) For a year's worth of server, we'd need to get a total of $430. (that's including a 10% discount for the yearly server) Of course we'd like to raise the $430 and not have to pay the extra 5% for next time, but we'll see how much we can pull together. For six months worth of server, we still need: 205-65-20-50=$70 For a year worth of server, we still need: 430-65-20-50=$295 If you'd like to donate, either reply to this thread or PM me with your: -Full Name -Amount of money you'd like to donate If you're not sure on the amount of money you'd like to donate, $20 seems to be standard -- but do what you can. I recently found out there's an extra charge for using credit and debit card payments -- It's best to create your own paypal account and verify it with your bank, then transfer from your bank to paypal, then transfer from paypal to me... I'd prefer not to make admin available for payment -- If someone thinks that they have paid for admin, and then they end up losing it for any reason, anyone can imagine they'd be pissed and that they'd feel they were ripped off... Also, it's not fair to those who have earned admin to sell it. Sorry bud, but we'll only accept your money if it comes from your heart. Edited Thu Jan 31 2008, 04:26AM |

Count me as a pledge for $50. I'll wait a few days or so before I send payment just to make sure everything is legit. My reservations about not financially contributing to FTS from months ago are gone, and I feel a little guilty about dropping psychostats for FTS. |
