Hey guys, my one post in the topic which is now locked was in response to this one. -[link]- It looks like glass, screenshotted one of Pope's threads, I didn't look at the formatting long enough to see who wrote it, I was super pissed with the content though. And since I can't post in that forum I came here and tagged on what I wrote to the other thread. Basically, I thought Pope's post was completely off base and downright wrong. FT is not "swirling in the drain" not as gaming clan or a community. In fact we've had some crazy amounts of traffic recently and are experiencing alot of activity on a whole. Then I saw the stuff about Americans and that pissed me off... and then the 9/11 reference pushed me over the edge and I grouped Surfers in as a whole. (I thought GLass said it who appeared to be the ring leader in this) I'm sorry to surfers. But Pope on the other hand I'm not sorry to. I don't think we need someone who thinks that negatively about our community, our servers, our members, our country or our fellow humans hanging around here. That post was one of the most disrespectful, mean and hateful things I've ever read. What was it a post that got deleted? A chatbox message? I mean why wasn't it quoted like normal? |

Why did you name this thread "I Apologize to Surfers" when ur just attacking me? why not call it "Pope is a douchebag" or something that is actully relative to your thread. | ||

Because in my blinding rage at you, I lumped all of surf together without looking more closely at the details. I opened an old wound and said something I didn't mean. I said that if Surf disappeared overnight it wouldn't affect the community at all. I was wrong, surf (as much as I don't care for it) is an integral part of this community whose members are as much as a part of as all of us. |
