Whoever got rid of surf_dunes is a failure at life, and should be killed immediately. That map was the definition of surfing. Not your pansy flying around in a circle, shooting randomly with a shotgun with the off chance of clipping a poor soul in the head and screaming "OWNED! OWNEEEED!" It requires skill, and people could not cope with that. If there ever becomes a map where people can't surf it, it becomes "unfair", or "no fun" to the people who can't. These are often the people that aren't decisive enough to take it upon themselves to PRACTICE IT, and make themselves feel GOOD when they surf through a hard map. In my personal opinion, a much better rush then stabbing a person who got stuck on the ramps in the back. Although I am not completely serious with ALL of this, surf_dunes rules, if it had testicles, we would know them as the state of Alaska. Edited Thu May 10 2007, 12:18AM |

I don't know who took off surf_dune, but it was probably because anyone who didn't already have the map wasn't able to download it when the server switched to it. as for surf storm: A: I never really liked that map, Too much of a hassle for admins B: Every time it came on the server would empty C: race is the exact same thing as storm, if not better |
