Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.
Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.
Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

Ok, so I understand I've been hiding in the shadows for about a week now, but it is all for a good reason. Last week when I was playing Surf, my video card overheated, and fried. Now, it was on its way out, so I could only expect that to happen soon. Right now I am getting to you guys through a school computer and really have no way of playng css untl get a new vid card. This could be as soon as this weekend, or who knows how long I'll miss you in my absence, and I'll try to get on the forums when I can get to the library to keep up with the server.

gLiTchâ„¢ wrote ... just a quick question... how long does the average vid card last..(life span). And what abotu when u overclock it... how long then? Well. I have a Geforce 2 MX that still operates perfectly. It's from...I don't know, 6 or 7 years ago. Video cards will usually last a long long time. Longer than anyone would be using it for. Anything overclocked, of course, will not live quite as long as hardware at stock speeds. But just like a CPU, the difference in lifespan will mean almost nothing, because by the time it's dead, you'll have a new one. The fact that your GPU overheated, Rusty, means that either you had no safe shutdown on, or you did and your temp sensor was faulty. Video cards can withstand a considerable temperature. The default auto-shutdown is 120C, which is pretty hot. |

yea Amped has it right here, most graphics cards at stock speed use, will last you quite awhile, but graphics cards pushed to their max (overclocked and such) will have a shorter life span. I use a pragram called Systool to monitor various temperatures of my system. I've got GPU Temp defaulted to the system tray, so it's always got the temp displayed there. It's got a rather extensive overclocking tools library built in. If any of you wanna check it out, then I'll hook ya up with a link.
