I have gotten some complaints and I myself have been a bit confused. There are some little editing I want to do with the motd, maybe someone else will agree with me. Rule #1: Don't spawn attack. This rule is fine, maybe we should add 'until you have finished the map' to it, but i'm not quite sure if we really need too. Rule #2: Don't spawn jump until you finish the map. This rule has nothing wrong with it, leave it be. Rule #3: Don't spawn camp or camp ANYWHERE. This one I (and other people) have the most problems with, does this mean we cannot camp, even if we finish the map? Maybe we need to add that if that is true. Rule #4: Dont spam Mic or Text. Do not ghost. This rule also has nothing wrong with it. Rule #5: Respect everyone. Including members of the clan and admins. This rule is pretty good, we may just need to enforce more on it when it comes to non-admin/members fight each other. Rule #6: There is absolutely no racism tolerated here. I have had some issues with people calling each other 'negro' or 'black' or 'nucca', etc. and gotten bs because I told them not to use these words either. So can someone tell me if I was just a retard to enforce the rule for those words or not? Rule #7: No camping/attacking from on top of ramps. I do not think we enforce this rule enough, especially for attacking on top of ramps, I know lots of people who ramp attack and get away with it. And maybe we should add that even if you finish the map you cannot ramp camp, I don't really want the motd be too large that it would have too much details, so maybe we can just leave it. Rule #8: No camping at portals. We have had some issues with this, but I don't believe we should edit this, it is pretty clear what the rule means. Rule #9: Most importantly, HAVE FUN! Not really a needed rule at all, but I guess we can keep it, but I personally don't care what we do with it. Rule #10: No Hacking. Very clear rule, simple, not much issues with it, it's fine. Also, I have hadm some issues with people saying not to plant the bomb, however, I have checked the motd, even the map rules (which some of you have probably forgotten, also they are not really needed anyways, since we barely have the maps that we play on). So maybe we should add another rule that says, "Absolutely NO planting the bomb" or for those who say 'you have to be the last T to plant', we can add that too. Those are some the editings I have for the rules, feel free to add more and discuss. I do not want to make the motd/server too strict that no one can have much freedom/fun, so I do not want too much enforcment on the rules. However, I am not an admin myself, so hell, what do I know? However, I am not an admin myself, so hell, what do I know? not being an admin doesn't mean you don't have a say, or that you don't know the rules... the motd shows you the server's rules entirely, so you know as much as any pub who joins the server (or how much they SHOULD know) actually i guess you're right, admins know more spoken rules than regs/members... |

1. spawn attacking is attacking before you hit the ramp. thats how it is and will be enforced. 2. Keep this rule 3. Office is different then surf. Once you complete the map once, you can camp. Just no shortcuts. 4. Keep it 5. Agree with nostie 6. I as well have been yelled at for enforcing this. I think this should be discussed more. 7. Get rid of this. Doesnt make sense without an explanation 8. Very Important rule 9. Yeah, make it number 10 10. This should be right up near the top actually. |

The rules in debate seem to be: 3: Camping: Can you camp after you complete the map, no matter what, or can you only camp for a period of time? my personal preferance is to go with 10-20 seconds for this one, because camping holds up the game for everyone... 6: Racism: is saying "nigga" alright? (clearly, nigger is not tolerated) ALSO: I'm adding No sexism to this rule. 7: Ramp spine attacking should ramp spine attacking be allowed? Nostie says yes. the camping part of this rule is covered under the camping section. |

1. Pretty sure we all agreed on the no attacking untill you and the person your attacking are on the ramp 3. I think this one should be re-written, and re-evaluated. Maybe we should allow camping, but not exessivly...which would be determined by admins in the game. ie: if a person camps to long, an admin warns the person to move or be slayed 4. i think spamming mic/tex and ghosting should be seperated..not really related 7. i don't know if we should have this as a rule..maybe just no exesive camping on top of the ramps..its a part of surf..for example if someone gets stuck on a ramp..what, they just fall and die or go to jail? 9. have fun should be the last rule |

for the bomb planting, i think that there should be NO bomb planting at all, because if you are the only one playing as a T on the game, you can plant whenever you want if the rule was 'You have to be the last T to plant the bomb'. I think that no planting at all is a better rule then 2 min wait, cuz this is a surf server. | ||
