well aint this a fuckin BITCH :'( Sigh... man when the times were good, they were good. I've been on CS since 05, and found fish tank shortly there after. Mind you, I'd go on 6 month hiatus' every so often, but I always managed to come back and find Fish Tank on my server list. Whenever I was stuck and needed somewhere to play, I ALWAYS knew i could go to Fish Tank and by some great office times... But if the powers that be want it to end, so be it, but I want you all to know that I won't forget the time I've spent here, the good and the bad. I'm not exactly a forum person, so I can't really promise I'll be here. But if not, I wish you all the best in whatever you do from here, and I'll catch you all on down the trail. -Irish |

FTC need to update and clean house a little. I played there once, and due to some shitty admins, who took the game too seriously, ruined my time on the server. I think the head admins and Op/s should go through and see what admins take their power too seriously, and who are just trying to have fun. Honestly, a 24/7 on one map isn't a whole lot of fun, if the people on the server can't have fun. Surf has had to do this before, and we've lived through two servers dying, and we will still go strong. Just a shame this is FTC's real first time going through this, and no one is man enough to step up and say hey, it always gets worse before it gets better, but it will get better. It's sad to see people just give up on the server. Maybe that is why you've lost players, I mean, who can care about a server, when the people who are members to the community that own it, don't really care? Edited Wed Aug 06 2008, 09:44PM |

I know I don't care and people seem to think I'm in charge of something (false). But over the past 3 months, for me personally, real life has just been... amazing... challenging... rewarding... inspiring... etc etc and basically just alot more interesting than online video games. And I just can't say I'll ever commit to doing anything FT related ever again. Like I may volunteer some time, maybe (for like a league or something)... maybe a few bucks if the community needs it... I'll hop on CS occassionally... should it strike my fancy (it hasn't lately)... and I'll still visit the forums... and respond to what I feel like responding to. But... other than that... that's about all I'm willing to give up right now. And... while I don't speak for the majority of other Leads/Ops of FTC... I think they might feel the same way. Or, even if they feel different, the results (activity) are the same. But hey, it is what it is, we had a good run, the community will remain and who knows what the future will bring. I really don't think there's any need to feel upset or angry about what has happened. (Canoe is just having diarrhea of the mouth) Things just change ya know... |

P.S. As one of the contributors, my vote is to not continue the subscription. (I think it's a waste of money) Also I don't want a refund either... just keep the money where it is and maybe start up another type of server in the future. Whatever people express interest in. I've always wanted a custom map rotation server personally... but hey, just let it play out, see what happens. |

I think a change in maps would help. Would you all be opposed to switching to a rotation of the standard VALVe maps? That will definitely bring in players. | ||

One of the coolest servers I've ever played on was Sexy Killers. They had custom maps and then all the Goldeneye maps. It was pretty sick, maybe that could be in our future, but I doubt if it will do more than delay the inevitable. | ||
