I kicked saying "While you are reconnecting, reflect on what you've said." As for the leniency for the regs -- they may play on the server but it does not give them immunity flags. You all started on the server, and you have all been warned of the racism rule... A ban would not be given to a reg for a single racial slur but a kick is in order. However, a random person who explicitly funnels anger towards a particular culture/religion should receive a higher punishment than a regular. Regulars (and members alike) should not be immune, but they should have a different set of escalation procedures (What I mean is... does reconnecting to the server dismiss the first warn? You've been here before; you know the rules. A random player doesn't know the rules -- they need the first warning. If they come on the next day, the warning has already been in place, has it not? Granted, they won't be perma'd or shouldn't be for that unless it's excessive racism rather than a one liner). |

hey Im all against racism etc, but if ppl are gonna get kicked, like five dollar holler taht easily, put it in the MOTD so then its not unexpected. For example"if you are a regualr and know the rules, you will be kicked with no warning, and if you come back in and say a single word, you will be kicked again, and if you post on the forums asking what the heck, then you will be made to look like a fool for questioning". | ||

It is posted in the MOTD that there is no racism allowed, correct? Therefore, admin discretion is taken into consideration... I felt that what he said was too "racist" for a warn, but not "racist" enough for a ban... I did not try to make him a fool for questioning... I stated my counter-arguments... I did not kick for him saying something after he reconnected, so get your facts strait buddy, stop playing "jump to conclusions" -- You will go by his word simply because you do not like me and therefore will not trust my word. I was alive when he reconnected; how could I hear what he said if he was dead?! I said in green admin chat: "While you are reconnecting, reflect on what you've said" and kicked him. But Matador, since you said I made a fool of him, here it goes: I play on more than just the FT server, so once in a while i'm bound to have a slip up and mix server rules.So, in other server's it is alright to throw racial slurs and discriminate other races or cultures? Great! Human morals & respect shouldn't be a rule on a CSS server; they should be Universal. To admit that you have these urges to let out these statements is far from respectful, and with that being said, is it too obscene to receive a kick?! I hope you see where I am coming from... Sorry if that was too harsh, it's just that it strikes me with confusion how people can overlook circumstances.. Maybe it's just that I am tired as hell, but hopefully all is well in the end... Honestly, i wouldnt have said anything at all but the second kick IMMEDIATELY after i reconnected saying "think about what you said" was ridiculous. If people are confused: Me: (racial remark) *Kicked from server* *Reconnected* Me: "Who the fuck kicked me?" Jesus: "Think about what you said while you're reconnecting" *kicked a second time* *the server is full, 24/24* So, yes I did get kicked a second time just for asking who kicked me. Unless my racial remark was that bad that it is a double kicker, making it even more ridiculous. But you can just close this thread, Jesus has dragged it in a direction I didnt want it to go and theres no bringing it back to productivity. |

And I was alive, I couldn't even read it!! I don't know if a double kick is more ridiculous than racial slurs because you "forgot the server rules".
