This is what im talking about. Impatience. Things will get done. Just because they arent done at exactly the time you feel they need to be done doesnt mean we are doing a poor job as LA's. I am not as tech savvy as many of you with software and all that bullshit so it may just take me a bit longer to catch on with certain things. Deal with that. Nazism may have been a bit far fetched but i was referring to being extremely anal bout trivial things. And my FT voting system was just Bubble Gooses system for the record. I rewrote it to be more easily readable with a few changes to the number of votes needed. But thanks for your opinion on it being ridiculous. Maybe we should go back to your system which seemed like a fucking 10 page dinosaur? If you dont wanna deal with me fine. Deal with Bandito or Piece but i am sure they feel very similar to the way i do. If anything, i'll just deal with Knight. I am a man of much patience but i got more important issues to deal with than this finger pointing bullshit. Ah yes...the FT i remembered so clearly. You're taking this as a personal attack on you and you're clearly incredibly angry. Relax, man. All we're trying to say is that we want this shit done now so in the future when issues happen we will be ready for it. In the preceding month or so before we launched the GO server we should have had all of this done. I'm not doubting your work or taking away your credentials but there still is a lot of shit that has to be discussed. Literally barely anything in the past two weeks has been done other than the MOTD, a few admin promotions, and basic policies for the server. Alex worked EVERY DAY, literally. Had we not had all of these plugins that he wrote himself ready, we would have got a shitstorm of requests/forum posts telling us what we weren't doing right. I should say, what Alex didn't do right. How can you blow it off like you guys have been working so hard and how much you all have done when you haven't even done a 20th of what Alex has done? Even back when I helped him with the Source server, we worked on it literally every day from the time I got home from work until 2 A.M. The GO server? I couldn't help him at all and he did it himself on top of writing plugins. Now on top of it we have this nonsense to deal with which we appointed you guys to take care of. Again, you are missing the point. We are making the point that you are not taking the initiative on things to prevent them from happening in the future. Who the fuck cares if there aren't problems now? There will be, as outlined in the past. |

If it's so similar to the original then why did it have to be chopped up and reworded if the end result is so similar to the original? That sounds like the work of someone who is "extremely anal bout trivial things," as you say. That's what is so ridiculous about your voting system. Not the content--the content is OK. What is ridiculous is that it even needs to exist when something that could have been slightly amended was already there. Why would we go back to something that was legitimately abolished? Why would I want to do that when I drafted the original and then later suggested that we abolish it using the rules in that very same system? I'm guessing you brought this up because you think I'm slamming the Goose system? I was perfectly fine with the Goose system and told you as much. You seem to be the one who was anal about using a reworded version of the (at the time) valid system. I still to this day do not understand why it was so important to you. gLiTch wrote ... Sadly fisherman, I don't even think anything major was solved here. I do believe this conversation would have been best in private, maybe steam message or email. It could continue there too, and if this thread wasn't out of my jurisdiction I'd lock it. I suggest to the people fully involved to lock it and talk about it behind closed doors. | ||
