Office needs to be taken more seriously, where as team killing, mic spamming, etc., are generally more accepted on surf because they're fun maps. If you guys wish to adapt some of the policies we are trying to implement here, you are more than welcome to. |

Like i said.. i dont want ALL the responsibility. I would like to assemble a team though...to help me keep this server going. I will create a thread later today. |

As for those three roles previously posted: The face: I'd like to see Glitch amongst others, everyone loves him and nobody has problems with him(that I've seen). However there are many others I can see being suited quite well for this "job". The techs: We have a ton of people, including myself that are working in IT. Many of us would be able to do this and/or help with the maintenance of the server(s) with a little studying. For instance, I basically know nothing on these servers, but you guys do. You can pass the information down, give us a little training and even without, we can research the information needed. I'm sure some of us can assist. The decision maker: I'm not sure about this. I feel like if one person has to make the decisions, they would be taking a lot of heat from clan members, regulars and newcomers. Some people will side, some people won't. People will start siding most likely, so maybe keeping these decisions to a vote would be most proper. Another thing I'm confused about is why are we even bothering to hash out these small details now when CS:GO hasn't even come out? I'm under the impression that we have the CSS servers up right now to establish a foundation or launching point, so to speak. Won't the servers be going down after GO comes out? I understand that it's always best to plan ahead so we SHOULD be talking about policies and details now so that we're not stuck thinking about them AFTER CSGO comes out but i just wanted to know if I'm under the right impression. |
