Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.
Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.
Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

I think this would help the FT community a good ammount. Like Toasters said, it would probably get us a lot more google hits, which is always good. As for it not falling under the rules: could we just ask an admin to add it then? Edited Fri Jul 21 2006, 04:58AM

OK,,,,, This has NOTHING to do with teh FT CLAN. It is a good idea and I'm sure all you have to do is ask Alex for a sub-forum in the Tech Section and I'm sure that if its feasible and merited, Alex will consider it. This vote is outside of the scope of the clan and cannot be passed because it is invalid and not FT related. Plus, why does this even need a specialized sub-forum anyways? Why not just try posting 'Tutorials' in the underused Tech section and take it from there?

wrote ... OK,,,,, This has NOTHING to do with teh FT CLAN How could you say that? This has everything to do with FTC. It's members sharing their knowledge with other members, to improve the clan in it's entirety. It's also a good way to make the clan more prominant (via hits from a google search) in the world of gaming. wrote ... Plus, why does this even need a specialized sub-forum anyways? Why not just try posting 'Tutorials' in the underused Tech section and take it from there? I Agree with this. Maybe I didn't make it clear enough in my original post where the tutorial forum could go. wrote ... All I did was state that this proposal is invalid and provide my reasoning. I'm 99% positive that this is my privilege and responsibility as a clan member. Hey, if the proposal passes and it goes to a passing vote then that's awesome. What then? Well, you need a site admin with the authority, granted by krem, to actually make the effect of the proposal become actual. As a site admin, the voting system doesn't hold any sway over me in this respect because I can flat-out ignore the legitimacy of the proposal. You might find a site admin that will do it and that's not a problem with me. I don't believe the goal of coordinating this social FT clan was to influence website or server operation. If you want to change that then make a proposal to amend the voting system. Point taken. A proper voting sytem requires checks and balances. Without those checks and balances it all falls apart and the people with power can do as they please, while those without power have to live with those changes. If we start voting on issues that can't be changed ourself, with no means of enforcement, we might as we'll be asking the oil companies to lower the price of gas. So with all this said, Any admin who wishes to set up a tutorial forum, Please consider yourself asked. I feel it would be benificial to the site, clan, and anyone else who decides to visit our gaming community. I will help in any way possible if you decide to go through with it. |

I'm moving this over to the Schooling Fish forum so the discussion can continue. .4ngryToasters wrote ... wrote ... OK,,,,, This has NOTHING to do with teh FT CLAN How could you say that? It would be an excellent resource for our community as a whole, instead of being exclusive to our social clan, which is a smaller subset of the community. .4ngryToasters wrote ... Point taken. Hmm, I hope I'm not the equivalent of the evil oil companies in that statement above... Anyways, what do you think is better, a seperate forum, or a sub-forum of Tech Support? EDIT: Or should we just use the Tech Support forum, as someone previously suggested, and moderators can sticky the tutorials? Edited Sat Jul 22 2006, 09:25PM |

lol, ignore the last post I had here. But yeah, I can write a tutorial in the tech support forum, but I don't have moderator in that particular forum, so someone else will have to sticky it for me (or give me the power to do it myself). Edited Mon Jul 24 2006, 01:15PM
