| Remember when going to AOL chatrooms was like the only thing to do on the internet? | ||

I remember AOL used to have a search/browse feature (maybe it still does). I used to browse people's profiles, where they would mention their friends names, like "I love Chelsea and Lisa!" So I would IM them saying I was Lisa and I got a new AIM name. We would chat a little, then I would ask them to meet me at the mall in an hour, in the foodcourt. This was before cell phones. Then they would log off, come back a few hours later and be like "Where were you"  Also I belonged to a Dragonball Z chatroom RPG. I didn't even watch Dragonball Z, but my friend did, and he showed me the chat. Anyway I met some chick there and told her I was a girl too. Then I convinced her to cyber me. Now I realize that A: It was most likely not a chick B: If it was a chick, she was into Dragonball Z so she was probably ugly as sin So all in all I had fake lesbian cyber sex with someone who probably wasn't a female either. |

I remember when there wasnt such a thing as chat rooms. Prodigy internet in about 1992 with a steaming 2400 baud modem (2.4 k/s) The computer was a 16 mhz IBM, that we later installed a 1x CDrom on. This computer was the first time I went on the internet, and I played adlibs, used the dictionary, and had nobody to email. |

I was part of the AOL chatroom "Simpsons Trivia" I'll never forget it. I still have some people IM me to this day from there... There was a bot that would ask questions and the first to answer would get the points... it practically single handedly taught me to type. We would also get together and raid like the religion chat rooms and get into super fights with everyone there lol... it was awesome. |

i remember the good old days. I used to go into Video game trivia chatrooms lol. Those were fun. It had everything from NES to Sega Genesis, to i think up to N64 lol.... hey guys, remember...... 13/m/NY looking to chat....lololololololol |
