Hey guys, I am just wondering about the interest level of competative play in the clan here. As most of you know I play CAL and CEVO and since most of you don't use IRC or idle #fishtankclan or #check you probably don't know the SourceTV info for my matches. If anyone is interested in checking out competative play (CEVO in particular for now) then I can hook you guys up with the info. We have our fourth match tonight (Wednesday) at 10:30PM EST. I can post the info here if you guys want it, otherwise if you want to check out my old cal matches for strats on maps (I was strat caller and I can tell you my strats) then you can xfire or reply here and I can get you my demos (it is required for anti-cheat purposes by every league that you record every match) In short: if you want to watch our CEVO matches I can toss you the SourceTV info and time of the match (we have about 17 specs per game but it will increase when we get closer to the end of the season. We are rank 9 right now with 3-0-0 including one forfeit win. If you want demos or strats on maps (or if you need to learn maps) I can toss you my CAL demos cheers |

first p.s. Strat callers are normally the "professional wallers" of each team. They call out the perfect strategy becasue they know where the other team isnt covering. I still think you hacks, ill prove it someday, I promise you Joker!!  |

Yeah, Noskill the triple poster, you are in the right channel, you just need to register to get Op status. Evilpig and I are the only ones with it so far ... I don't know the IP for the match at the moment but I will post it at or around 8pm Omni - Yes, CEVO A CEVO is Cyber Evolution gaming league which is a gaming league like CAL but with less corrupt admins, different set-up and you need to pay to register in the league so the game play is more intense than cal. CEVO has three levels - A (amateur) M (main) and P (professional) If you come top something in CEVO A you get to move up to CEVO M and there is a prize money pool - $600 for 1st place team, $400 for 2nd, $250 for both 3rd and 4th. For CEVO M it is I think $3500 for the teams and cevo P is $10 000 if I am not mistaken. CEVO matches have different rules than CAL -- it skips the pistol round bullshit and you start with $16k. There are 12 rounds per half and you play first to 13 (If you go 10-2 first half you just need 3 rounds won in second half). The round time is reduced from 1:45 to 1:20 The match is on a map called de_russka I tried uploading my map pack to the site to no avail you can download the map @ -[link]- Pracket, my demos are on my desktop comp at the moment but tell me which maps you want demos of and ill grab them when I can *******SOURCE TV INFO******** connect cevocsschi1.nuclearfallout.net:27020; password gotcevospec Copy & Paste into console You need to DL de_russka Match time TBA (Probably 10:30) Edited Thu Dec 20 2007, 03:43AM |
