Ok i thought it would be interesting to find out where everyone got their name from. I mean its not everyday you use PockyNinja, Aborted Fetus and Dark Narf in your vocabulary. so Ill start first. Kamikazi Watermelon comes from a flash video called the demented cartoon movie. Now some of you have may realized that i spell kamikaze wrong. I spell it with an "I" because i think it looks cooler. Now for those of you that love perfect grammer and spelling. Go fuck your self. Here is the -[link]- to the website where you can find the demented cartoon movie. i came up with my name after seeing Die Another Day in the theatres. i thought it would be cool, my 1st OO Agent account was at GameFAQs. after awhile i kinda got bored with it and wanted something new, but i hadnt realized how much karma i had (i think it was around 300) on the boards. karma is pretty much just another way of saying how much you participate in the forums. so i stuck with it. many of you may know me as a few different names in the brackets starting off on FAMAS along time ago, which was what i started on the FTC server when i got most kills with the FAMAS. over time i got more interested in guns and just changed it to my fav gun. which also happens to be my airsoft gun (which is currently broken as hell). I thought "Alcohol-Powered" would be a fun play on Steam's website, which is steampowered.com. I flirted with the idea of playing as "Counter-Sober: Source," but ended up sticking with my first choice. | ||

I have an awesome story behind my name. It started out one day while I was skiing at Sunday River. I was looking at the stickers that people had slaped all over the chair lifts. One of them was for angrysalad.com. The name made me laugh. About a year later I picked up Half Life 2, and didn't really play CS much. After My friends told me how much fun cs was, so I had to try it out. When I was prompted to assign a screen name, I reflected back to the sticker I saw and decided whatever name I used from now on would have Angry in front of it to make it funny. Me being the maddox freak I am, I thought my name should become AngryPirate. The first server I ever played on was the Scs surf server. Someone suggested I make it more 1337, so I changed it to .4n9ryP1r@te. Since No-one could read this (and I realized AngryPirate wasn't funny), I decided to change it to the most random thing I could think of. Thus .4ngryToasters was born. And That's the story behind my name. | ||

i got my name cause my friend was watching this movie and hew got meow fit fit fit from somewhere in it and i made it my name on cs then i shortened it to meow cause everyone started calling me meow | ||

First off, Kami, kudos on the thread. I find it interesting to see where everyone is coming from with regards to his/her handle. Well, with my handle, Aborted Fetus, there is little mystery. When I first started playing Soldier of Fortune, my first computer-based FPS, at the tender age of 17, back in 1999, I wanted to shock other players. Then, it was the carefree (freer) Clinton era of American culture. In 1999, Monica Lewinsky, Paula Jones, blowjobs and ZipperGate were the words in all our mouths (not war, WMD’s, U.S.A P.A.T.R.I.O.T A.C.T, treason). So, suffice it to say, when things are going well (1999) you have to go to more extreme measures to really upset someone. Since then, the name just stuck and I have kept it. Had I been 17 now (2006), I would have had a different handle entirely to shock/piss off people such as “Bush Caused 9/11”, “Outing is Treason”, or “The Proud 51%”, to name a few. I do have to give props to our members when it comes to handles. I think we have some of the most original handles out there. I have visited other forums where “Sniper”, “Killah”, and “n00b destroyer” are the typical names. We, however, have Watermelon, Toaster, Alcohol, Fetus, Cat Poop and Bubble Goose (to name only a few). Having seen a bit of what’s out there, I am impressed with the community’s originality. |

I was listening to Wu-Tang but I changed it to Wu because if it was Wu-tang, people would think i am asian, which i am NOT. ya hear me? 100% italian. Ever since a few weeks ago, I have wanted to change my name. Because what the hell kind of a name is Wu? how boring. It was originally Wu-banga, which is why my name on the site is wu-banga. and people where always calling good wu-tang songs Wu-Tang Bangers so i shortened it to Wu-banga. Graffiti thought a wu-banga was a nickname for a penis. Maybe it could be but not in this instance. Anyway I was thinking about changing my name but then i realized no one would know its me. The End. The End End. <---see? I tricked you. You thought The End was the end but it was actually The End End. The End End End by the way: cheers! 300 fucking posts on this evil god-foresaken message board.
