Your fears are founded, that is why I was for this to be a democratic republic in terms of bill passage not bill proposal. Sucessful votes should be put to the scrutiny of such individuals as omni and ap. That way we still have the vote, and still have balance from our founding fathers' decision. Maybe we could have a limit on monthly nominations. To where it might be a vote of either or between prospective new members. | ||

First, i think there may be too many people in unnecessarily because, while i have played rarely since my return, when i have played i see very few FT people on and those who do are on frequently. Those people should be in. Those that are unseen should not, unless they have given an excuse or have special circumstances or something. Back when FT officially started as a clan with Ian and Kremit when the servers were "digital anarchy" the members of FT knew each other and played together regularly. We also had some fun with the special shotty only ship map, but that has nothing to do with this topic, i just had some good memories. Anyway back to the point, it seems from posts and what i see on the servers that FT today is not a community as much as a collection of names. That is the problem, not numbers. Don't fix how many you take in, but who you take in. As for the gay comments, i blame aborted. The gay seems to start after he posts 9 times out of 10 |
