Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

Nightrider wrote ... Shouldn't that tell you something? The problem is, most of the research sources that I have got from the internet is mostly biased from a Christian's point of view. That is not what I am looking for, I am looking for scientific facts that prove it wrong. Religion is based on faith, not science. The chances of you finding any scientific evidence for or against intelligent design is between zero and none. It is almost completely outside of the realm of science. Pocky, that is the beauty of argument. You are never right or wrong, and such an issue such as this one is one that is going to keep going until the proof of something is slapped in our face. As far as your statement Infernus, there really is no evidence at all to prove anything. Nobody was there, nobody can date accurately because they have not lived for a certain period. Scientific research such as this started mainly in the 1800s and as much as you would like to think we are advanced, we are not. Oh and creationism is a science, Infernus. There are many questions that can arise from both evolution and creationism. Like, for instance, if God exists, how did he come to be? If the Law of Conservation of mass states matter cannot be created nor destroyed, then why do scientists contradict themselves by saying that we simply formed out of nowhere? These questions don't have an answer. Scientists do not know if we formed from nothing. It's just an impossibility and an annoyance to think about. |

I have to go with pocky on this one. You cannot scientifically prove it wrong, because it is a theory. That is the point of a theory, it cannot be scientifically proven, or disproved. Edited Thu Sep 27 2007, 09:24PM | ||

That is the point of a theory, it cannot be scientifically proven, or disproved. but the opposite is true as well, Christians cannot prove they are right either.... Blind faith cuts both ways... It can totally absolve you of having to think for yourself as well as protecting your inability to prove your point.... Religion has no proof... it has to be taken on faith. |

Cha Siew Bao wrote ... Pracket wrote ... There is a book this guy wrote about it. I saw it on comedy central on the Colbert Report. I have no idea his name though, he uses scientific logic I beleive to disprove it. There is this thing, with this guy, and he said this other thing, about that event, and thus proves the moon is made of cheese. Shit pracket, could you be any more vague? As for your topic, I agree with rusty here. I haven't seen any scientific viewpoint that says that evolution is wrong. And the only opposition I've seen is from the Christian points of view. I guess other religions just don't care as much -_-' I suppose you can always read through the FSMism book though, since its a cross between both creationism/evolution. Maybe I'm vague because my recollection of it is very "vauge?" go suck a dick. |

These questions don't have an answer. Scientists do not know if we formed from nothing. It's just an impossibility and an annoyance to think about. Scientist don't really have a answer for where the matter came from for the big bang but that there was a big bang that started it all. So your right it all boils down to nothing as a answer even god you would want to know where a god would come from. I mean if you take the religion path and god made it all where did god come from? Did he make himself? IF so he would have had some sort of will before he was made where did that come from? blah blah blah. This is why I said you shouldn't try to make a scientific argument about evolution there is more supporting evidence then there is agienst it. Also creationism and Intelligent design are both not real science. The government and all the scientific bodies have said this is not science. I did a paper on Intelligent design a year or 2 ago and proved that it wasn't a science. Pretty much it boils down to this a science needs to answer questions. Your answer can not be "because a higher life form willed it to be that way." I got no beef with religion I think that science can even be a way of figuring out what rules god has set if you want to look at it that way but science studies nature not the super natural. |

There for you can not be right and you can not be wrong. |
