Oh man, sry to hear that dude. I really hope everything is alright and I hope that the injuries will heal with no long term effects. I agree that older drivers should renew their licence periodically and take in car tests. I also think that the school is a bit negligent by putting so many children so close to the road where something like this happening was only a matter of time. Having these kids standing so close to the road also puts them at risk for abduction. The school's policy regarding the way they let students stand practically on the curb should also make them liable, to a degree. I would assume that the school will adopt a new policy of making kids wait inside the school until their parent/guardian arrives to pick them up. | ||

Nah, I didn't get the day off from school. That wasn't even my school. And goose, actually, they where in the parking lot. The driver went in to pick up his kid, but hit the gas instead of the brakes. The bus stop for that school isn't on the main road, but near the entrance in the parking lot. Thanks guys |

Yeah it was a little hard to tell from the news report video. The overhead chopper view showed the roadway a bit better. Any word on if charges are being laid? | ||
