Im not sure how this is all gonna come out....im pissed and mad and hurt at the same time. I DONT KNOW WAT TO FUCKING DOOO. As most of you know I recently broke up with my gf of 9 months, and wat you dont know is that I was VERY close to her family. Well in order of events for this situation: I had to go to the ER on sunday (of last week) (not yesterday) and I was ordered to stay in bed and given promethazine...so i was fucked upppppp. Well on tuesday my "friends" who i considered my best friends, they went to my ex gfs house and stole her moms carved bear. Which was a very expensive bear and ment alot to her. So they call me and start asking if i hate jade and wat not and they must realize i dont hate her so they didnt tell me about it. Well they start dropping hints that "they did me a favor" and i ? whether or not they did ne thing to my gfs house. They lie and then i see a fucking pic of the bear ((i didnt know that it was stolent bcuz im not in conttact with the family a this time)) on MYSPACE what a bunch off fucking retards. SO i call them yelling and asking whether or not they did it. They lie and say why are you yelling and freaking out, And i told them cuz wat they did isnt right and wat not well its a long story but i get them to take it back. They took it back on like wed or thursday. So i dropped it and moved on. Well everyone gave me shit about freaking out and how its not a big deal and i told them that her family treated me like family and took care of me and i cared about them and they didnt deserve this. And so yesterday morning i get a phone call from my exs mom and she says she saw my friend and his jeep and someone else and that as long as they bring it back it will be fine, well i call him and shit and tell them to bring it back....they expect me to cover them and shit. I TOLD THEM TO TAKE IT BACK B4.............and i covered them. I COVER MY FRIENDS...SO i was trying to keep my mom from finding out, but when i was at choir she comes and pulls me out and says they came to my house and told her wat happened and that they thought I WAS DRIVING THE JEEP....this is what hurts the most....after all weve been through they couldnt just ask me if i took it or anything. so we get everyone planned to go over to there house to return it and when we get there she pretends like i was a suspect , my friends clear my name, and shits done, well before we went there my ex sent me an email, here is wat it said "just one question....why" this hurt the most. Well when i got to school today another "friend" tells me she heard i was being a baby and this set me off again. AFTER ALL THIS my friends still are acting like im being a baby and shit.....i was pissed because im on probation and they know if the cops asked me about it i would have lied and had there back and that would have been a probation violation and straight to juvee for guarenteed 3 months. What kind of friends do shit like this to their friend. Tell me guys AM I BEING A BABY, or is there a good reason why im pissed and hurt......ok now i can admit stealing the bear may or may not have been my business, i told them to take it back they took it back and then stole it again...wat a bunch of fucking retards.... i found out they stole it the first time in the middle of the day....idk wtf to do...... |

This is quite a problem. In the end no one can tell you what to do. It is clear you care for everyone here becouse your willing to lie to the cops for these friends who treated you like shit and your ex can bring you down with a simple sentence. I think that you should turn your friends in if they do it again because no matter what you do it will only end up causing pain to someone even if only yourself. I think that you should have a long talk with these friends becouse it would seem they don't care about you or the things you have to deal with because of their actions. As for the family I think you have to really exsplain how you had nothing to do with this and it really hurt you to be a suspect at all. I can't really tell you what to do but these are some suggestions. I think the most important part is to search deep down within yourself and find the answer on your own. It is your life for good or bad now stand up and choose your path. |

How small of a town do you live in if Cops are willing to launch a full on investigation over a carved wooden bear!? Did a redneck widdle it out of a magic tree stump or something? Know your rights... if the fuzz question you, don't say anything. If they take you to the station, know that you cannot be questionned without a lawyer present. (you're only 16) If the lawyer advises you to answer the question, be truthful in your response. If it means ratting out your assclown friends in order to save your own ass, do it. Like you said, they stole it, they should do the time. (Theft under $1000 is probably some community service at most) It would have been REALLY sad if you got locked up over a wooden bear that you didn't even take... Lies and deception lead to more trouble. Maturity is knowing how to calmly handle small situations before they blow up and put you behind bars... Seems like there's a bunch of stuff you need to get off of your chest, have you tried conseling? Being a teenager is a part of life, everyone goes through it, some have more problems than others. I agree. honesty is the best thing to use. tell your friends you can't have their back if they do things that you're not into. not to sound cliché, but "if they want to do that stuff to you, they're not really your friends" |

damn nate, sorry to hear about all that shit. i wasn't here this weekend, so i wasn't ignoring you on xfire. hit me up later if you want to talk. find a middle ground between what you want to do, and what goose suggested. you gotta stick up for yourself in these kinds of situations. my friends have done all sorts of stupid shit that i had to stick up for them, but if it gets you in serious trouble (juvy/jail) you have no obligation except to yourself. |
